The goal for Catawba Springs was to create an ambiance that was equally as fine as that of its sister club, the in-town Lake Hickory Country Club, yet more relaxed and understated for the serious golfing crowd. A unique mix of colors, patterns and textures create a casual, comfortable atmosphere that reflects a feel more indigenous to the area. The use of stacked stone throughout the facility as well as cherry millwork, complemented by in-laid black ebony accents, helps create an upscale craftsman interior. The upper level of the clubhouse consists of the entry foyer, private dining room, main grill and pro shop. The lower level houses the men’s and ladies’ locker rooms and a bar.
